Here is a good place to list the diversity in our
group and in our hobby,
our special projects or interests, the antennas we make, the kits we
build, etc.
First a bit more about our group. The TVDXA was
formed in 1989 to facilitate the exchange of information, to promote
amateur radio, share knowledge, to improve individual operating
efficiency and to advance the general interest and welfare of
amateur radio in our general community.
Some of our members prefer to operate in CW mode
while others prefer voice mode. Some members are active in the
Amateur Radio Emergency Service and some participate in The Sky Warn
severe weather net.
The TVDXA participates in Field Day, an annual day
set up to operate several radio stations on portable emergency power
and establish nationwide contacts. Our photo gallery spotlights this
activity.
TVDXA operates the K4JW - Packet Cluster Node and
Digi: CHADX on 144.990 MHz (1200 baud)
TVDXA also operates its primary Telnet Cluster
via: k4jw.no-ip (41414). The backup telnet cluster is
provided by dx.harwood.com (8000)
